We’re delighted that the SFO’s album “Sleeping Warrior” has been nominated for a Scots Trad Music Award 2025.
This is in the category “Album of the Year” at the annual Scots Trad Music Awards.
Voting is open in this “Nominations” phase (which lasts until Sunday 19 October 2025 at midnight) and you can register your opinion of the albums listed.
Congratulations and good luck to everyone who has made it onto the list HERE. On this evidence, Traditional Scottish Music is in great shape.
Album of the Year is just one of the many categories available for voting.
Others include Musician of the Year and Composer of the Year.
If you would like to vote in order to move your favourites forward onto the Short List (for which a further vote will begin from 03 November 2025), you need to vote online by 19 October 2025. (At the link HERE, you need to scroll down the page and click on “Next>”).
No personal details require to be given and you can vote in as many or as few categories as you like. (So, in theory, you could register only a single vote in one category). This does not need to take you long – less than 2 minutes, in fact, if you wish.
